Allied Medal Display Giveaway

A few weeks ago I had a bout of “mommy guilt”. You see, I was adding more and more races (shhh….don’t tell Charles) and as I was dreaming of new race bling it suddenly occurred to me that while I was excited about adding new medals, my current medal holder probably wouldn’t appreciate having to shoulder more burden.

MedalHolder

Actually, he probably would be excited because he spends as much time playing with those medals as he does any costume he owns. But, in an effort to save his neck I reached out to the kind folks at Allied Medal Displays. They agreed that while Dash was undoubtedly the CUTEST medal holder they had ever seen, they would be able to come up with something a bit more practical.

Endurance 26

The process was super simple. They have tons of great designs ready to go, or you can customize one of your own. I was really impressed with how smooth ordering went and within no time at all I had this beauty on my door step.

CIMG4404CIMG4405

Installation was super easy but I ran into a problem. After hanging my medals I realized I had TONS of room to fill and the races I had registered for just weren’t going to cut it.

So I registered for a few more. This week I got in the lottery for the Houston Marathon half as well as registered for the 3M half in Austin two weeks later. Those, along with the slew of other races this season should fill in those spots nicely.

  1. Currently, I had no medals, however, I'm getting ready to run the Fort2Base Race Sept. 11 and I'd really like to have a nice place to hang my shiny reminder of all the work I've done. I love so many of the designs, but I think I'd get a custom one with my motto “I Can Do This.”

  2. I like the Believe display! I woud LOVE to get a special made one that says LessBritt MoreLife!

  3. What a great site! I've just been thinking of what to do with my medals. I love the “Heart and Sole” display (as I know that the only way I finished my 2 marathons was with a good helping of each!)

  4. Right now, my medals are on my dresser, hanging on my bedroom doorknob, and in my jewelry box. It would be so nice to have a real place to hang them!

  5. Always Earned Never Given – Female version

right now my tri, swim and dragon boat medals hang on my bed post all clumped together …what can I say? raising teens and a medal holder is a want, not a need.

  257. Currently have all my medals in a drawer, except my most recent or biggest from the season, which hangs on the mirror so I remind myself to get better each day.

  261. I love the “Always Earned, Never Given” display!!! That is the one I would love to get.

  262. I like them on fb.

  263. I bought a tie rack from BB&B to display my medals for now, but an actual medal holder would be WAY better!

  264. I would like one that says either: Bullseye with a scope-type logo, or something motivational, like their “my body has the power, my mind has the will”mantra…that's a good one!

  265. 1. I would either choose a custom one (if possible) with my name of some sort. Or I'd pick the triathlon figures, or (and most likely ) I'd choose “Pigs Fly”

  266. 2. Liked Allied Medal on FB

  267. 3. I only have one, but I will be accumulating 2 more by the end of the year. ( I hope!) Right now I have one medal and it's hanging on the nail that I have my calendar on. Classy eh?

  268. 4. Sent tweet via @runaroundsara

I would get the one that says “Pride is Forever.” SO TRUE!

My collection of 5 medals is hanging on my bedroom door handle – a shame! These are so awesome!!!

  271. Loved the medal displays on the Allied Medal Display website. The Born To Run one is my favourite though and would love that to hang my medals (all two of them) from. If I could have a custom one I think it would say 'I Can Do This', think that would be very cool.

  272. I don't have anywhere to display my medals right now. They're just chucked in a drawer, hidden away, poor things!

  273. I've just liked the facebook page.

  274. I've just tweeted the giveaway.

  275. My husband would love the Pain is Temporary. Pride is Forever one. We currently have his race medals lined up in a drawer but his birthday is coming up and I know he'd love to display them. Will “like” Allied on FB. This is great!

I love the one that reads, “I crossed the libe.” thats all that matters to me- just crossing the line and having fun!

I liked them on FB! =)

I currently have my medals (all 5 of them lol) on an iron “screen” thing in my bedroom. But I'm running out of room and have more racing to do!

  279. i like the 1/2 marathon one but I would really love a I Run Because I Can one. :)

  280. i like allied running on facebook

  281. I sadly don't display the few medals i have I have a box dedicated to medals, bibs and race tees on the top shelf of my closet.

  282. I think I would pick the one that says “runner” with the female runner on it. But there are so many. I am also considering a custom one with “mom to marathon” on it–my business name.

  283. I “liked” Allied Medal Display on FB

  284. My husband took a tie rack and nailed it to my office furniture for my medals. It is already full. Sometimes I'll just hang them on a cabinet door of my desk. I have quite a collection going.

  285. I posted on FB! I did it on my personal page as well as my business page.

  286. I tweeted!

  287. I really like the swim, bike and run figures hanger. I currently don't have mine hanging just laying on a shelf in the office.
