Broken & Betrayed

And my own body is the culprit. From a young age we are told if we want something bad enough, if we are willing to work hard for that thing, then we will earn our hearts desire. But what if that desire is a baby? What if we’re willing to do anything it takes to add to our family, and it still doesn’t happen? This is my reality, I am infertile. I can’t begin to express how hard that word is {Read More}

Why I’m never registering for a race again
February 22, 2013 By Tricia 33 Comments
Yeah yeah, I’m being melodramatic-just allow me this one day, and I’ll slightly amend that to “registering early”. I haven’t talked about it on here because frankly-I was super bummed. January 7, 2013 By Tricia 18 Comments
This weekend was filled with highs and lows. Saturday I sent out this tweet: That feeling is hard to describe to someone who hasn’t struggled with their weight, or with their fitness goals. It’s so darn hard to gain momentum and when it happens-wow, just wow. It’s a euphoric feeling when all of those little decisions start falling into place and filling in the big picture. It’s like in the cartoons when a light bulb goes off over the {Read More}
